Fashion Art by Manuel Fernandez was born in 1998 with the desire to offer to the most outstanding artists of the international pictorial panorama, a new and exceptional support where to express their work: a dress-canvas. Each artist acts by intervening on a different dress, in white, where he/she expresses his/her work and, consequently, creates a unique piece of art.
INSPIRED by a Cherokee wedding, the bride wears all white attire consisting of a white dress and moccasins. The dress in colonial times was made of pieces of cloth that tribal women tore into squares or rectangles. Achieving with the manila shawl those geometries.
