Inspiration:
For me, fashion not only bears a social responsibility but also refects current sociocultural developments. On receiving the dirndl-style dress from the title: Fashion Art Institute, it was immediately clear to me that I had to come up with TRAPP 3.0 a design which would prevent it from falling into an automatically designated category. My general artistic focus is on the critical questioning of gender role models. technique: Accordingly, the design I created for the ‘Trapp 3.0’ dress is based not only on MIXED MEDIA ON CANVAS contemporary re-engineering of the traditional mapping of folklore but also on encouraging new perspectives on male and female forms of appearance.
