Successful businessman and founder in 2000 of the communication company Kroma Self-taught artist, graphic designer and advertising creative director after years of hiding his work as a visual artist and sculptor and in the midst of a campaign to raise funds for the fight against cancer, he found the need to donate some of his paintings along with those of other Puerto Rican artists, The comments of the press and attendees and the success of the proceeds gave him the impetus to continue his career as a visual artist. His Puerto Rican identity has been the most recurrent theme in Medina’s work. Distinguished by his impeccable ability to integrate objects, found in his travels, to create abstract pieces, Bernardo Medina’s artistic development has been the result of a long process of study and experimentation. After some group exhibitions in 2008, “Azar” became his first solo exhibition, with great sales success. Quickly, his career began to take off internationally, exhibiting in New York, Miami and Puerto Rico different collections such as “Fly Away”, “Candy Me”, “Cafetín”, “Plátano”
