Charles Villeneuve (born 1971 in Nantes, France) is an architect, designer and painter. Since 1998, he live and work in Madrid (Spain). He has been part of CHARLES many projects since 1994. Between the last exhibitions: Musée National de la Marine Paris, Art Zurich 2013 and Retrospective exhibition Casa de Velázquez VILLENEUVE (Academy France in Madrid) march and april 2013.

ARTIST STATEMENT:

My work is very close to my other job and passion… architecture. Tis Project was for me the challenge to paint cities fragments in cotton like watercolor on paper…only changing the type of canvas and you turn to an other world… title: completly diferent sensations… thinking about the movements and the 360º view. Sure this project was for me a great and magic experience.
